The Lindenwood University–Belleville library opened August 2011 and is currently located in the Alan J. Dixon Student Center. The library houses around 3,000 volumes and more than 40 print journal subscriptions. These materials support the curricular offerings at Belleville.
In addition to the library’s print collection, users have access to more than 80 online databases and over 115,000 eBooks through eMO eBook Collection and Safari Tech Books. The Belleville library is also a member of MOBIUS, a consortium of more than 50 Missouri college and university libraries – including Lindenwood St. Charles – and entitles students, faculty, and staff to request books from member libraries. That’s over 8.6 million titles available for request!
Other features of the library are computer workstations with Internet and email access, study areas, and copy machines. Circulation staff members are available to assist with general questions and to check out both reserve and circulating materials.
